Blogger's Conundrum

This must be my third or fourth attempt to confess, 'I am the most socially inactive person in the tech-savvy world! For the tech-nerds, I am the retard who cannot differentiate 'tweets' to 'like' or when to add '#hashtag' for a post. Henceforth, I am not talking about my socially-active mates, who regularly 'link', 'share' or generate maximum 'like' for their post. And definitely not going to talk about their blog, which is on the top ten ranks of the search-engine (I am not green-eyed!). I am not even looking at the so called 'informative' blogs (exception for those on food, travel and on books....). Am not going to rant about everything and anything under the sun. Did the list went too long? Well, then on what topic should I write for my blog?



Technology gets big 'NO' and filmy gossips come second. Well, am one of those who doesn't believe in spending on apparels beyond thousand bucks (mom calls me, 'miser'!) Did she mean, 'rare species'? Designer labels are for the 'fashion forward' minds. Not ME. Having said that, now, I will have to do away with two more topics for the blog.

Leave aside exploring length and breadth of the country, I have not ventured beyond city's periphery. So, does that disqualifies me as a travel-writer? Anyway I like adding exotic locations/places to my bucket list. Am hopeful to write a travelogue like an experienced back-packer.

I love food and have developed palette for gourmet food (restricted to only vegetarian food). What option do we (vegetarians) have beyond 'cottage cheese'? Well, we have plethora of option in veggies too...from roots, buds, leaves, flowers to fruit. Speaking about paneer, this ubiquitous dairy-product is packed with proteins and other essential nutrients. Do I need to say more? Definitely NO. Food & Writing sounds like a 'perfect pair' and lucrative too. Hmm, why not explore this avenue? But there is gamut of information already available on internet. Then why bombard readers??

Did I say in my previous blog on 'lack of motivation'? Well, there is a correction, it has to be 'confusion'. I figured out, this is every Blogger's Chronicles.

Holidays are not always pre-planned, at time decisions are made in impulse. But some are meant to be experienced and explored without any inhibitions or hesitance. Literally, the year may not have started on a good note...But it definitely unveiled the travel bug in me; right from traversing the coffee estates of Coorg to exploring the shores of Rameswaram. Even though many believe, unplanned holidays are not ideal choice for women venturing the unknown destinations. Put that thoughts to rest, bagpack your haversack and explore the unknown terrain. Been there, done that! The first destination was Tirunelveli, also popular for its halwa, has many places worth visiting like Nellaippar temple, Nagercoil, Courtallam and few more waterfalls of perennial rivers. Well, each one of us have read in one or the other blogs ...'Why I quit my five/six-figure salary to travel'? Really! Quit five/six figure salary at this juncture when world-over big corporates are cutting jobs at the time of recession? Well, that too for travel?  Is this a sole reason? Or you've been handed pink slip for day dreaming exotic locations sans meeting work deadline (pun intended)? And then, you come across a new breed of travel junkies who want to experience some adventure in their otherwise monotonous life.
